In Florida, pursuant to the Open Records Law under Fla. Stat. sec. 119.01 et. Seq, it is the policy of the state that all state, county, and municipal records are open for personal inspection and copying by any person.  Moreover, it is the duty of each agency to provide access to public records.  The Florida law also provides public access to governmental proceedings, including meetings of public boards or commissions in the Open Records Law under Fla. Stat. sec. 119.01 et. seq.
